FAQ

What are the benefits of cold-pressed juice?

Juices that are cold pressed protect and preserve the inherent nutrients of the fruits and vegetables used. Unlike the most commonly used centrifugal juicers, the raw product is pressed, and there is no heat involved.
On top of that, our products are organic, raw and unpasteurized, leaving you with 100% of the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and nutrients available. They don’t have the added sugars or artificial sweeteners that most bottled juices contain.
Another awesome benefit is the fact that cold-pressed juice is absorbed very rapidly by your body due to the lack of fibrous pulp, providing the drinker with an almost instantaneous boost – within 15 minutes you will already feel your energy levels go up.

How much produce is in one .5 Liter bottle?

Experience has shown me that there is usually between 1.5 to 2.5 kilos of fruits and/or vegetables in every .5 liter bottle. It’s so nutrient dense!

Do you reuse the glass bottles?

At Junie Juice we only use glass bottles purchased in Switzerland. Because of the high volume of bottle use, I am unable to reuse and sanitize every bottle. The amount of water needed to fully guarantee that every bottle is sterile for reuse is wasteful. However, I do reuse a reasonable portion, and ask my clients to recycle and/or reuse their bottles.

How long can I keep the juice?

The juice retains its highest level of nutrients and taste for up to 4 days. After that, it may still be drinkable, but the nutrient content will fade. I always say “the nose knows” – In other words, if it is no longer safe to drink, it will either smell or taste “off”. My advice is to always try to consume fresh juice as soon as possible, and within 4 days after pressing for the greatest benefits.
